42nd Annual Independence Day Classic
On July 4th, the Assistance League® Santa Clarita Walkers participated in the SCV Runners 42nd Annual Independence Day Classic. This event benefits the cross-country programs at all seven Santa Clarita Valley high schools. We are proud to support our community and the families we serve.
3rd Annual Youth and Family Festival
On May 16, Assistance League® Santa Clarita participated in the 3rd annual Youth and Family Festival at the Canyon Country Community Center, hosted by Pilar Schiavo. Families, community groups, local nonprofits, and other organizations came together for a fun day that highlighted resources available to the community. Through its Literacy Program—one of nine philanthropic programs that support community needs—the Assistance League distributed children’s books and information on The Resale Store. Overall, it was a wonderful day for everyone.
Scholarship Award Celebration
6th Grade Promotion Outfit Event
On April 26, 2026, Assistance League® Santa Clarita hosted a 6th Grade Promotion Outfit event at JCPenney. Students referred by schools in the Newhall, Saugus and Sulphur Springs districts attended the shopping event to prepare for middle school promotion. They proudly showed off their new outfits with volunteers, and smiles were everywhere.
